Eesa was diagnosed with Autism and is not yet able to use spoken language to communicate. At this time, he expresses his needs primarily through nonverbal means. Without the ability to use spoken language, there are many situations in which Eesa is not able to express his message clearly enough for others to understand.

Eesa needs an iPad and communication software - this is crucial for children who are not using natural speech.. By
using a picture-based communication system, Eesa will have a medium through which to practice producing words and sentences, thus allowing his language skills to advance.
